New Herbal Remedy Suppresses Inflammatory Cytokines, Offering Hope for Autoimmune Diseases
The study looked at how a plant extract called TSTDR affects inflammation in the spleens of rats with arthritis. Rats were given different doses of TSTDR for 21 days, and their spleen size and levels of inflammatory markers were measured. The results showed that rats given higher doses of TSTDR had smaller spleens and lower levels of inflammation compared to rats not given TSTDR. This suggests that TSTDR may help reduce inflammation in arthritis by lowering levels of certain inflammatory markers in the spleen.
