Optimizing Rice Seeding Time Boosts Grain Yields for Higher Food Production
Seeding time of rice directly affects its growth period and grain yield. Different rice varieties were studied, showing that early mature medium japonica rice had the highest yield when seeded on June 17, while hybrid late mature medium japonica rice had the highest yield when seeded on July 1. This hybrid combination shows potential for high yield. The study emphasizes the importance of choosing the right seeding time based on the variety characteristics to achieve high yields. The growth period of rice is also influenced by seeding time, which can impact yield if seeding is delayed.
