The article introduces a new method to evaluate the performance of university scientific research. This method combines data envelopment analysis (DEA) and multiple-parameters evaluation to provide a more accurate assessment. By adjusting the evaluation results with the DEA model, the method allows for fair comparisons between different research units, even if they have varying input scales.
