Loquat cultivars reveal sweet surprises: Xinbai 1 leads in sugar content!
The study looked at the sugars in four types of loquat fruits. They found that the main sugars were fructose, glucose, sucrose, and sorbitol. Each type of loquat had different sugar proportions, with Xinbai 1 having the highest total sugar content. The peel had less sugar than the pulp, and the fruit apex of Xinbai 1 and Ruantiao Baisha had the highest sugar content in the pulp.
