Film mulching methods can increase soil water content and maize yield. In the study, different film mulching techniques were tested in maize fields. Results showed that furrow seeding and ridge film mulching kept soil water content above 13%, helping with water retention. The highest maize yield and rainfall productivity were observed with double-line width ridge film mulching.
