The experiment aimed to see how different fertilizers affect nitrogen levels in purple paddy soil. They studied soil nitrobacteria, nitrification rate, and nitrogen mineralization potential. Results showed that using organic manure and inorganic NPK fertilizer together improved nitrogen levels the most. Chloride-containing fertilizer slowed down nitrification. The pH of the soil also played a big role in nitrification. Overall, using organic manure and inorganic NPK together is the best way to keep the soil healthy.
