Spatial analysis reveals high clusters of university students in arrears in Guangdong.
The study looked at university students in Guangdong province who are behind on payments. They used a method called Spatial Autocorrelation Analysis to see if there were patterns in where these students were located. The analysis showed that there were clusters of students in arrears in certain areas of the province. One cluster was in the western part, including Zhanjiang and Maoming, while another was in the northeastern part, including Heyuan and Shanwei. The study found that the proportion of students in arrears was more clustered than the actual number of students.
