The study looked at the quality of water in five main rivers in Baoji city. Using a method that compresses pollutant data, they found that overall, the water quality meets the standards. Upstream water is better than downstream water. Since 2009, water quality in these rivers has improved, but key pollutants like COD, BOD5, NH3-N, and phenol can still be above allowed limits in some areas.
