New wastewater treatment process reduces pollution by 96%!
Researchers studied a process to treat Polyaether wastewater using a combination of coagulation, sedimentation, anaerobic, aerobic biological treatment, and active carbon. They found that this process can efficiently reduce sludge and remove up to 28% of COD when using PAC at 100ug/L and pH 6.7. With this treatment, wastewater with 3000-4000mg/L COD can be treated to reach 150mg/L, achieving over 96% COD removal.
