Wetlands in Tibet are important ecosystems with diverse functions. They cover about 2.59% of the total area, with natural wetlands making up most of it. The main types are lake and river wetlands, with rich biodiversity. However, these wetlands are at risk due to factors like lower water levels and degradation. To protect them, conservation measures are suggested in the article.
