The goal of the study was to improve corn production in Weining County, Guizhou Province by testing different fertilizers. The researchers established a fertilization index system based on soil samples. They found that using organic fertilizer along with specific amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium led to better crop yields. The study recommended using organic or compound fertilizers, paying attention to the timing and proportions of fertilization, and applying basal and topdressing fertilizers correctly for optimal results.
