Melon farming breakthrough: maximizing photosynthesis for higher yields and profits!
The study looked at how melon plants grow on gravel-covered fields in Ningxia. They studied how the plants' photosynthesis changes throughout the day, along with factors like temperature and sunlight. They found that during the fruit-growing stage, the photosynthesis had two peaks and a drop in the middle of the day. But during the maturity stage, it only had one peak. The plants' stomata, tiny openings on their leaves, were the main reason for these changes in photosynthesis.
