Soil nutrients in Guizhou Anshun area reveal agricultural productivity secrets.
The study looked at soil nutrients in different types of land use in Guizhou Anshun area. The soil was slightly acidic with lower pH levels. Different land uses had varying levels of soil nutrients, with paddy fields, vegetable areas, and fruit areas showing consistent patterns in organic carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Available nutrients also differed between land uses, following similar patterns. Total nutrients varied more across the area compared to available nutrients, and there was a trend of nutrients accumulating near the surface. The study found a strong positive correlation between different soil nutrients in the area.
