This study looks at how businesses clustering together can boost economic growth in different regions of China. They studied how it helps industries grow within the same area or together with other industries. The researchers found that when businesses in the same industry group together in eastern China, it helps the economy grow more. But in central and western China, when different industries cluster together, that helps the economy more. So, in the east, focus on making industries bigger but avoid making one industry too big. In the central and west, new industries should work with existing ones to grow and improve.
