The study looked at how different ways of adding nitrogen fertilizer to Kongyu 131 rice plants affected their growth and yield. They found that giving more fertilizer early on helped the plants grow more stems, have higher nitrogen levels in their leaves, larger leaf area, better photosynthesis, more effective tillers, and more dry matter on the ground. This led to higher yields in the end.
