The article compares two methods for preparing limestone slurry in a process called wet flue gas desulfurization. The researchers looked at a wet ball mill system and a limestone powder preparation system for large power plants. They found that the wet ball mill system is more reliable and cost-effective for 1000MW units. It is recommended for long-term use in thermal power plants. The maintenance and management of the wet ball mill system should be improved for better performance.
