The Yellow River mouth region has been facing issues with water scarcity and sediment buildup, affecting flood prevention and oil exploration safety. By analyzing the river's changes and existing control projects, the Shibahu control project was chosen to manage the main flow channel and improve flood protection in the area. This project aims to stabilize the Qingshuigou channel and reduce the risk of flooding.
