Revolutionizing Paddy-rice Cultivation: Saving Water, Reducing Costs, Increasing Profits!
Plastic-film mulching wet cultivation of paddy-rice is a new technique that can save water, reduce costs, and increase profits. In 2004, experiments were conducted in various locations, covering a total area of 102.13hm2. The average yield using this technique was 7,528.5 kg·hm2, which was higher than traditional cultivation methods. The increase in yield was 35.4% compared to routine inundation cultivation and 8.4% compared to transplanting rice-seedlings cultivation. The technique was found to be effective in increasing yields and saving costs, with potential for further development in the future.
