Optimizing Nitrogen Fertilizer Boosts Hybrid Glutinous Rice Yield and Quality
The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer affect the yield of a type of hybrid glutinous rice. They found that using 200 kg of nitrogen per hectare led to the best results, with more productive panicles and spikelets, higher yields, and better dry material accumulation. However, using 250 kg of nitrogen per hectare actually decreased the yield. So, for this type of rice, 200 kg of nitrogen per hectare is the ideal amount to use.
