The article discusses how East Asia regionalism is influenced by different thought patterns like realism, liberalism, and constructionism. Factors both inside and outside of East Asia have led to the formation of the ASEAN +3 conference summit, which has helped establish real regionalism in East Asia. However, there are still barriers to creating a unified East Asia community. China's peaceful rise is crucial in promoting the construction of this community.
