They also discovered that regions with a strong agricultural background tended to have imbalances between farmland and urbanization in the earlier years, while areas with a solid industrial base and high urbanization levels showed imbalances in the later years. The research used mathematical analysis to quantify these trends and determine the types of development coordination in the region.
