The article explores how logging data can be used to identify different types of volcanic rock formations in the Xingcheng region. By analyzing gamma-ray and deep-shallow DLL logs, the researchers identified characteristic values for various volcanic facies. They then applied this information to recognize lithology and interfaces in gas reservoirs and lithofacies within volcanic rocks. The study found that logging curves can effectively help in identifying different types of volcanic rock formations and can be useful in production processes.
