This paper discusses the types and distribution of grasslands in Maqu County, Gansu Province. It evaluates the yield and quantity of different grassland types and suggests ways to increase grassland productivity, such as determining livestock numbers based on carrying capacity, adjusting livestock types, raising sheep in sheds, and enforcing grassland regulations.
