The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers affect winter wheat yield and fertilizer efficiency in the North-west Oasis Area. They tested various combinations of N and P levels and found that the N165P105 treatment resulted in the highest grain yield. Water use efficiency increased with less nitrogen but not with less phosphorus. Using more N and P fertilizers can boost yield but decrease fertilizer efficiency. The right balance of fertilizers is crucial for high yields in this region.
