Private vocational colleges are an important part of non-governmental higher education, growing rapidly with government support. The characteristics of higher vocational education are discussed, focusing on the concept and history of vocational education. The author, drawing from their experience in higher vocational colleges, identifies various teaching problems in these institutions.
