The study looked at how to assess the environmental impact of land use planning using the concept of ecosystem serving value. By analyzing a case study in Binhuai town, researchers found that by using this approach, they could measure the ecological benefits of different types of land use in a simple and understandable way. This allowed them to quantify the ecological benefits in land use planning.
