Dichondra repens shows higher tolerance to cadmium pollution than Trifolium repens
The study looked at how cadmium affects the germination of two types of grass, Trifolium repens and Dichondra repens. They found that low levels of cadmium helped the seeds germinate, but higher levels hindered germination. Trifolium repens struggled more with higher cadmium levels compared to Dichondra repens, which showed better tolerance to cadmium.
