The study looked at soil and water loss in a small watershed in Danfeng country to help control erosion. They found that water erosion is the main cause of loss, happening mostly on sloped farmland. Loss is higher in summer and autumn, and lower in winter and spring. The elevation of the land affects where erosion happens. To prevent soil erosion, they suggest using ecological and exclusion measures.
