A new method called SPD artificial recharge system has been developed to replenish deep groundwater efficiently. Unlike traditional methods, this new system requires less strict water quality, recharges water quickly, in large amounts, and is resistant to clogging. Lab experiments have shown that the SPD system is more effective than direct well recharge in the field.
