New Study Reveals Boron Efficiency Key to Boosting Crop Yields!
The study looked at different types of boron in rapeseed plants to understand why some plants are better at using boron than others. They used four different types of rapeseed plants and their hybrids in an experiment. The results showed that plants efficient in using boron had lower levels of one type of boron, higher levels of another type, and medium levels of a third type. In contrast, plants inefficient in using boron had the opposite pattern. The hybrids showed levels in between the efficient and inefficient plants. This suggests that the type of boron in the plants is closely related to how well they can use boron, which could help explain why some plants are better at using this nutrient than others.
