Zhejiang's Unsustainable Ecological Footprint Threatens Environmental Stability
The study looked at how people in different cities in Zhejiang Province use natural resources and impact the environment. By using a special model, researchers found that in 2005, some cities had more ecological deficit than in 2002. Ningbo had the biggest deficit per person, while Lishui had the smallest. This means that as the cities develop economically, they are putting more pressure on the environment. Zhejiang Province is currently not sustainable, so it's important to use resources more efficiently, promote eco-friendly ways of living, and reduce our impact on the environment to achieve sustainable development.
