High soil water content boosts tomato growth and photosynthesis efficiency.
The study looked at how the amount of water in soil affects the growth of tomato seedlings. They used a special device to measure things like photosynthesis rate and chlorophyll levels. The results showed that having the right amount of water in the soil helps tomatoes grow better. Also, the leaves near the top of the plant aren't always the best at photosynthesis - sometimes the lower leaves do a better job.
