Freezing Mouse Embryos Unlocks Potential for Affordable IVF Treatments
The dish microdrop method was used to freeze KunBai mouse embryos, resulting in a high recovery rate of 98.1% and no damage to the embryos' protective layer. The embryos showed a revival rate of 95.2% after being frozen and thawed, with no significant difference in development ability compared to unfrozen embryos. This method efficiently vitrifies 8-12 cell embryos, making it a promising technique for cryopreserving mouse embryos.
