High potassium levels lead to skyrocketing potato yields, but beware excess!
The study looked at how different levels of nitrogen and potassium affect potato yield. They found that high potassium with high nitrogen led to the best potato yield. Increasing potassium fertilizer boosted production, but too much potassium decreased yields. More nitrogen initially increased potato production, but too much nitrogen eventually decreased yields. Excessive potassium fertilizer led to wasteful absorption by the plants.
