Salicylic Acid Boosts Plant Photosynthesis in High Temperatures, Improving Crop Yields.
The researchers studied how salicylic acid affects the photosynthesis of Pinellia ternata leaves in high temperatures. They sprayed different concentrations of salicylic acid on the plants and found that lower concentrations increased chlorophyll content and improved photosynthetic indicators. The study showed that salicylic acid can protect the photosynthetic system under high temperature stress, with a concentration of 0.5 mmol·L-1 being the most effective.
