A new GPS algorithm called Unscented Kalman Filter was developed to improve accuracy in tracking locations. This method uses a set of sample points to estimate system states more accurately without needing to simplify equations. By comparing it to the traditional Extended Kalman Filter, the Unscented Kalman Filter was found to be more precise and provide higher accuracy in positioning.
