The coal in Beisu Coal Mine has high sulfur content, limiting its use due to high SO2 emissions. To tackle this issue, Yanzhou Mining Group is constructing facilities for gas generation and electricity production. A new coal selection technology using wind power has been introduced for selecting coal in Beisu Coal Mine. This method is low-cost, efficient, and produces good economic results. It can treat the coal to be used for gasification and electricity production, moving away from traditional fuel coal use. The process aims to improve the quality of coal by separating impurities using wind power, making it suitable for gasification and electricity generation.
