The article presents a method to help different experts work together on designing complex products. Each expert creates their own model of the product's functions, which are then combined into one central model. This ensures that everyone's views are consistent. The method was tested on designing a vehicle shape, showing that design information can be easily shared and changed to speed up the design process.
