This paper discusses the process and technology advancements in coal gasification. It covers the different stages involved in coal gasification, such as pyrolysis and gasification, as well as the types of gasification methods used. The characteristics of ash and slag produced during the process are also examined. The study suggests focusing on improving gasifier efficiency, coal feedstock flexibility, and developing technologies for cleaner coal utilization. The goal is to enhance the reliability and efficiency of coal gasification for producing syngas with low contaminants.
