Heavy Metal Pollution in Shenyang City Poses Health Risks
The study looked at how heavy metals are distributed in the soil in Shenyang city. They found that lead (Pb) had the highest average content, while chromium (Cr) had the lowest. Copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) showed the most variation in content. Zinc and copper were best described by an exponential model, while lead was best described by a spherical model and chromium by a linear model. Zinc and copper were closely related spatially, while lead was moderately related, and chromium had the weakest spatial correlation. The distribution of these heavy metals in the soil is influenced by both structural and random factors.
