A pilot test was conducted to treat wastewater from a petrochemical company using Fenton's reagent-coagulation sedimentation process. After three months, the treated wastewater had lower levels of pollutants like COD, BOD 5, and SS, meeting discharge standards. The pH of the effluent was also within an acceptable range. The BOD 5/COD ratio improved, indicating better biodegradability of the effluent.
