A new maize hybrid called Huaqi 338 was created by crossing two parent plants. In tests, it produced higher yields than the control variety Zhengdan 958. Huaqi 338 has a cylindrical ear, yellow kernels, and a 129-day growing period. It is resistant to diseases and lodging, making it suitable for planting in certain areas of Jilin province.
