Organic manure boosts soil health, enhancing humus forms for better crops!
The study looked at how adding different types of organic matter to wind-blown soil affects the levels of fulvic acid and humic acid, which are important components of soil health. The researchers found that using a combination of straw, muck, and peat was the most effective in increasing fulvic acid levels in the soil. While the humic acid levels didn't change much, the ratios of humic acid to other components decreased with the organic matter treatments. This suggests that adding specific types of organic matter can improve the quality of soil in windy areas.
