Sulphur fertilizer boosts rapeseed yield and quality in lower Yangtze plain.
The study looked at how different sulfur fertilizers affected rapeseed growth in fields with varying groundwater levels. They found that in fields with a groundwater table of 1.5 meters, sulfur fertilizer had a bigger impact on rapeseed compared to fields with a groundwater table of 0.8 meters. Sulfur fertilizer improved rapeseed growth, increased yield, boosted sulfur and nitrogen absorption, and reduced disease. Applying 60 kg of sulfur fertilizer per hectare was found to be optimal for good rapeseed yield and quality.
