Temperature in Chengkou, China to Rise Over 1 Degree by 2050.
The study analyzed temperature changes in Chengkou, Chongqing from 1961 to 2012. The annual temperature increased slightly over this period, with daily maximum and minimum temperatures showing more significant warming trends. Temperature fluctuations occurred in 1990 and 1998. There were also periodic temperature oscillations every 2-4 years. A climate model predicted continued temperature increases in Chengkou until 2050, with annual mean, daily maximum, and minimum temperatures expected to rise by 1.19, 1.34, and 1.02 degrees Celsius, respectively.
