Greenhouse Breakthrough: Warmer Winters, Brighter Crops for Farmers
In winter, a comparison was made between two kinds of greenhouses: the unsymmetrical multi-span greenhouse and the sunlight greenhouse. The unsymmetrical multi-span greenhouse was found to have higher air temperatures by 7.2℃ on average, with maximum and minimum temperatures also higher. The soil in the multi-span greenhouse was warmer too, by about 4.7 to 6.7℃ compared to the sunlight greenhouse. Surprisingly, the unsymmetrical multi-span greenhouse had better illumination than the sunlight greenhouse. So, if you want higher temperatures for your plants in winter, the unsymmetrical multi-span greenhouse might be a good choice, and it also lets in more light.
