The Wuyishan wastewater treatment plant uses a combination of contact oxidation and vertical flow constructed wetlands to clean urban sewage. After over 2 years of operation, the plant has shown high removal rates for pollutants like COD, BOD, SS, TN, and TP. The treated water meets strict quality standards and the process is efficient, compact, and easy to manage. The upcoming project aims to further improve the system for even better results.
