Fenton Oxidation Treatment Revolutionizes High Concentration Pharmaceutical Wastewater Cleanup
The researchers studied how to clean up high concentration pharmaceutical wastewater using a method called Fenton oxidation. They found that by adjusting the pH to 4, using a specific amount of FeSO4·7H2O, and letting the reaction go on for 100 minutes, they could remove 52.1% of the pollutants. This made the wastewater easier to break down naturally.
