Composite wetland system purifies wastewater, improves water quality significantly.
The study looked at how well a special wetland system can clean up dirty water. By combining two types of wetlands, the system was able to remove a lot of pollutants like COD and BOD. The longer the water stayed in the system, the better it got at cleaning up. One type of wetland was great at removing nitrogen, while the other was better at getting rid of phosphorus. Overall, the combined wetland system did a good job at purifying the wastewater.
