Urbanization in Sichuan Province was studied in terms of economy, space, and population. The cities in the province were analyzed, revealing that economy urbanization levels are generally low, while space urbanization levels are high with heavily urbanized land. Population urbanization and overall urbanization decrease from Chengdu to other areas. The ideal urbanization should focus on the economy, but none of the cities in Sichuan meet this standard.
